I placed my bug catcher inside the bushes because I knew from the day before that there where bugs there.
I was expected to find a centipede, spider or ants.
My favourite part of the day was when we made the bug catchers.
I would make mine smaller if I made it again and put more food on my bridge so that more insects would crawl up.
I made my bug catcher out of bowls,lollysticks,sellotape and other things.I first put my bug catcher in the bush but i did not get anything. Then i put it in the long grass but i still did not get anything. Then i put it in the trees but i still did not get anything.I expecting to get some ants and spiders.I inJoyed making my bug catcher and seeing what i had int he catcher
1) Where did you place your bug catcher and why?
I placed my bug catcher in a corner in the shade with leaves because I thought that the animals that live in this corner would like to use the bug catcher as a home and would fall in.
2) What was you expecting to find there?
I expected to find some small bugs like ants or woodlice because I made a tiny hole for the insects to fall in.
3) What was your favourite part to the day?
My favourite part was making my bug catcher I stuck some jam on the inside so the animal couldn’t escape and put some flowers to make animals feel like it was home.
4) If you could make your bug catcher again what would you do differently and why?
I would plant my bug catcher underground in the garden because some animals for example worms live underground and maybe get in.
I will place my bug catcher in long grass because there are lots of bugs in the long grass
I was expecting to find some ants, spider and worms.
My favourite part of the day was when we made the bug catcher.
I will make my bug catcher at home and I will place it in the garden

I think the most favourite part of the day was making my bug catcher.

Well if I had enough time I would go onto the internet and
find out what each bug like’s and put what it like’s in the
tube to attract them.

1) Where did you place your bug catcher and why?
I placed my bug-catcher nearby the tree so the bugs can crawl in and I put it there because I thought most insects would be there.
2) What was you expecting to find there?
I was expecting to find a few ants or a slug, woodlice and maybe a worm.
3) What was your favourite part of the day?
My favourite part of the day was making the bug catcher.
4) If you could make your bug catcher again what would you do differently?
I would make a better way to get in and also use less soil inside because if I did catch an insect I wouldn’t see it and I would accidently let it go …

I placed my bug catcher near the bench, in the bush because I knew that there where bugs there. I was expecting for some ants, worms or woodlice. Yet I didn't get anything at all. I understood why I didn't get anything.
My favourite part of the day was when we made the bug catchers. Next time I would dig a hole and put my bug catcher in and put a piece of wood over it. It also need to have a small space for the bugs to get in.

I mostly expected woodlice,ants,slugs and snails but I was only right with the ants.
Well, my favourite part of the day was when we made the bug catcher.
I would make it more camouflaged and not put so many things in it.

I put it there because it was a shady and i knew i would get a lot
Of bugs there.

(I was very keen to get these!)

Making them because I was to excited
That I’m going to get my bugs!
I made it with a plastic bottle first,
Then I cut a hole out the middle.
Then i put grass, daffodils, leaves
And also some soil. After I covered
The bottle in paper. I took the lid
Of and with lolly sticks, i made a ladder.
On the ladder put jam and tomatoes
So the bugs can come in!
That’s how i made the bug catcher!!!!!

If i had time, I would go the internet
And search for what each bug like and find
The correct things that the bug like!

1) I placed my bug catcher under a black sheet outside our classroom because I know that bugs like places where it is dark and damp.
2) I expected to find slugs, spiders, ants and woodlice in my bug catcher.
3) My favourite part of my day was making the bug catchers.
4) If I made my bug catcher again I would put a bridge made out of sticks for worms to come in .I would also put more food in my bug catcher because last time I did not catch much bugs in my bug catcher.

4. I would put my bug catcher underground because they would fall in my bottle.

2) I expected to find ants, millipede and slug.
3) My favourite part of the day was making the bug catcher. It was easy.I used a plastic box,lolly sticks and some food to make it.

I placed my bug catcher on the long grass, among the flowers because I knew that bees
I was expected to find some bees, as I filled the bug catcher with flowers and honey.
My favourite part of the day was when the bees got into my bug catcher.
If I could do so, I would put some grass in it and also some external decorations such as flowers.
